Jaeyoon Kim

Jaeyoon Kim is a seasoned hardware architect specializing in ultra-low-power computing, hardware-software co-design, and hardware accelerator architecture for AI applications. Currently serving as the Chief SoC Architect at Arm, they develop and drive a scalable ARM SoC architecture while leading global engineering teams. Previously, Jaeyoon held leadership roles at Samsung Semiconductor, ParadAI, AMD, and Qualcomm, contributing to advances in ASIC R&D, machine learning architecture, and energy-efficient designs. With an extensive academic background, Jaeyoon earned a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University.
