James (Jim) Williamson is a power architect with a robust background in microprocessor systems and power architecture, spanning from cellphone modems to server SoCs. They held the position of Power Architect at Facebook from 2021 to 2023 and currently serve as Senior Principal Power Architect at Arm. Previously, they worked as a Power Architect at Intel Corporation from 2014 to 2019 and as a Principal Member of Technical Staff Design Engineer at AMD from 2019 to 2021. Jim started their career as a co-op engineer at AMD in 2001 and later served as a Project Engineer at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics from 2002 to 2004.
