Jim Larimer is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in digital signal processing and hardware development. Currently serving as Principal Design Engineer at ARM Inc since June 2011, Larimer previously held the position of Director at Acoustic Acuity, where responsibilities included hardware development and optimization for energy-efficient embedded digital signal processing solutions in biomedical systems. Prior to this, Larimer worked at Texas Instruments from September 1983 to January 2010, where roles included Program Manager for the '55x DSP Subsystem Design, leading the definition of next-generation CPU architecture, and managing a team of 26 in DSP applications. Larimer holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Murray State University.
