Joanna Farley is an accomplished software engineering leader with extensive experience in both management and technical roles. Currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Arm since April 2018, Joanna oversees over 60 engineers across multiple firmware project teams. Previously, Joanna held the position of Senior Engineering Manager within the Open Source Engineering Group at Arm, where responsibilities included leading a team of over 20 engineers on firmware projects and contributing to open source initiatives. Joanna's prior experience includes senior roles at Citrix, where Joanna managed teams in the UK and Nanjing, and significant engineering positions at Sun Microsystems, SCO, GEC Software, and PERME. Joanna holds a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Computer Science from Hatfield Polytechnic.
