John MacKay

John MacKay is a Design Verification Engineer at Apple since July 2019, with previous experience as a CPU Engineering - Performance Intern at Arm. John began building expertise through internships at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, where significant contributions included designing a VHDL controller and porting RF detection algorithms to FPGA. During academic years, John served as a Teaching Assistant at Washington University in St. Louis, creating lab exercises and aiding students in computer engineering courses. John holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis. Early experiences include various programming and IT roles, showcasing a strong foundation in technical skills and mentorship.
