Jonathan Wright

Jonathan Wright is a Principal Software Engineer at Arm, specializing in software codec optimization. They have previously held positions as a Senior Engineer, where they won the prize for best presentation at Arm's 2022 Global Engineering Conference, and as a Graduate Software Engineer, contributing SIMD optimizations to the Chromium project. Jonathan's experience includes prototyping SIMD software optimizations and accelerating video encoding technologies, as well as authoring research papers during their time as a Research Intern at the University of Cambridge. They earned an MA in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge and completed their AS/A Levels at Caerleon Comprehensive School.
