Michael Underkoffler is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in semiconductor design and development. Currently serving as a Senior Director of Engineering at Arm since October 2022, Underkoffler previously held the position of GM for Technology and Silicon Development at Microsoft from June 2018 to October 2021, where responsibilities included leading the Raleigh Engineering site and advancing silicon technologies for Azure Data Center. Prior to Microsoft, Underkoffler was a Senior Director of Engineering at Qualcomm, specializing in ARM processor design, and held engineering leadership roles at Broadcom, SiByte, and IBM, contributing to SOC and processor development over a career spanning more than three decades. Underkoffler earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Clarkson University.
