Michalis Spyrou

Michalis Spyrou is a Senior Security Engineer at WorldRemit since April 2023, previously holding the same title at Citrix where responsibilities included securing IAM and Citrix Cloud products. Prior to Citrix, Michalis served at Arm from March 2016 to September 2022, contributing significantly as Staff Software Engineer in the Machine Learning group by integrating security into the software development lifecycle and coordinating with teams for process enhancements. Roles at Arm included Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer focusing on threat modeling and the development of the Arm Compute Library. Earlier experience includes a Research Assistant position at CERTH, where a run-time system for the "Centaurus" project was developed, and an internship at Helic. Michalis holds a Master's Degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering and a B.S./M.S. degree in Computer and Communication Engineering from the University of Thessaly.
