Peter Hearne is a highly experienced Principal Design Engineer at Arm, specializing in GPU design within the Media Processing Group since March 2012. Prior to this role, Peter held various positions at Texas Instruments from 1994 to January 2012, including Staff Design Engineer and Senior Design Engineer in the SerDes Development Group, where contributions were made as a Senior Rx Design Engineer on multiple high-performance SerDes designs. Additional experience includes serving as Design Lead on DDR PHYs and hard IP macros for MIPS and ARM processors, as well as involvement in the development of networking products. Peter earned a first-class degree in Electronic Engineering from University College Dublin between 1990 and 1994.
