Puneet Matharu

Puneet Matharu is a Senior Software Engineer specializing in AI Frameworks at Arm since February 2021, with a focus on developing algorithms for image signal processing. Prior to this role, Puneet held multiple positions within Arm, including Senior Imaging Algorithm Engineer and Imaging Algorithm Engineer. Puneet completed a PhD in Applied Mathematics at The University of Manchester, where research centered on a novel space-time finite-element approach for computing time-periodic fluid flows, implemented in the open-source C++ library oomph-lib. Puneet also served as the SIAM Student Chapter Webmaster and was actively involved as a PASS Leader and Student Ambassador during academic tenure, contributing to student engagement and support. Academic qualifications include an MMath in Mathematics from The University of Manchester and foundational education from Coleg Llandrillo Rhyl and Rhyl High School.
