Rami Sheikh

Senior Principal Engineer

Rami Sheikh is a Senior Principal Engineer at Arm, specializing in microarchitectural exploration for next-generation high-performance CPUs since October 2022. Prior to this, Rami held several key positions at Microsoft from August 2018 to October 2022, including Principal Architect, where responsibilities encompassed system-level RAS, power projection methodology, performance modeling, and microarchitecture definition. Rami's engineering expertise was further developed at Qualcomm as a Staff Engineer focused on CPU research, where significant contributions included designing advanced branch predictors for Snapdragon 820. Rami holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University, a Master's Degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology, and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Hashemite University.
