Rob Clancy

Rob Clancy is a Senior Principal Engineer at Arm since March 2023, focusing on micro-architectural exploration for memory subsystems and data speculation. Prior to this role, Rob worked at Microsoft from August 2018 to March 2023, specializing in front-end hardware design for storage units. Rob's experience at Qualcomm (October 2003 - July 2018) includes serving as the instruction unit team lead and micro-architect for the Falkor core and as a micro-architect for the Saphira core. Earlier roles at IBM involved static timing analysis and logic design for the PowerPC 440 core and the L2 cache for the Xbox 360. Rob's career began with internships and co-op positions at Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory and AlliedSignal Aerospace.
