Ronak Somani

Ronak Somani is a Senior Implementation Engineer at Arm since August 2023, contributing to the Power Integrity team. Previously, Ronak worked at STMicroelectronics as a Senior Physical Design Engineer in the Imaging Division, focusing on full PnR activities for CMOS Image Sensors and Time-of-Flight ICs from June 2020 to September 2023. Earlier experience includes roles as a Senior PD Engineer at Inphi Corporation and as a Physical Design Engineer at Intel Corporation, where responsibilities included PNR, timing closure, and IR drop activities. Ronak's career began as a Graduate Intern at Intel, collaborating with the Layout and Physical Synthesis team. Additionally, Ronak served as an ASIC Design Engineer at Open-Silicon, Inc., engaging in various physical design tasks and ARM IPs hardening. Academic credentials include Master’s degrees in Integrated Circuit Design from Nanyang Technological University and Technical University of Munich, along with a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.
