Sohini Dasgupta, Ph.D., is a highly experienced staff design engineer currently working at Arm since July 2025. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Principal Engineering Product Owner at onsemi, where responsibilities encompassed leading image sensor development for automotive applications, as well as overseeing product architecture, design, and functional safety. Sohini has also held positions as a Senior VLSI Product Design Engineer at SatixFy, Leading Hardware Design Engineer at MIPS and Imagination Technologies, and Innovation and Product Development Engineer at NXP Semiconductors. A postdoctoral research associate at the University of Manchester contributed to expertise in energy-efficient computing systems. Sohini holds a Ph.D. in Microelectronics System Design and an MSc in Computer Science from Newcastle University, along with a BSc in Physics from Calcutta University.
