Subbu Ganesan

Subbu Ganesan is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in cloud engineering and infrastructure software. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering for Infrastructure Software at Arm since July 2025, Subbu previously held significant leadership roles at Akamai Technologies as Vice President of Cloud Engineering, overseeing a global team of over 450 engineers driving Akamai's Public Cloud initiatives. Subbu's prior experience includes serving as Executive Director of IBM Cloud Compute, where responsibilities encompassed the Compute software portfolio for IBM's Public Cloud, and Director of Software Engineering at Dell, leading teams in the development of a comprehensive Big Data ecosystem. Subbu has also held various positions at Dell, contributing to product strategy and development, and began a career as a Kernel Developer at IBM. Subbu Ganesan holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Bangalore University.
