Tharun Chalasani

Tharun Chalasani has a robust background in physical design engineering, beginning with an internship at STMicroelectronics in 2009. Following this, Tharun contributed to Wipro Technologies as a Senior Physical Design Engineer from 2010 to 2016, focusing on various aspects of physical design including place and route, floor planning, and physical verification. Tharun then worked at Intel Corporation from 2014 to 2016 as a Physical Design Engineer before transitioning to GLOBALFOUNDRIES as an MTS Digital Design Enablement engineer. From 2018 to 2024, Tharun held positions as Staff Engineer and later as Senior Staff Engineer at Qualcomm, specializing in PPA benchmarking on ARM core designs. Currently, Tharun is a Staff Engineer at Arm, starting in August 2024. Tharun holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Acharya Nagarjuna University and a Master's degree in VLSI from Vellore Institute of Technology, both with A grades.
