Tom Despain

Tom Despain has over two decades of experience in validation engineering, beginning with a role as a Validation Engineer at Intel from January 2000 to October 2003. Following this, Tom served at Intel Corporation as a Validation USB Cluster Lead from January 2003 to October 2006. Tom then joined Marvell Semiconductor, where the role of Validation USB/Serial Cluster Lead was held from October 2006 to June 2010, progressing to Validation Manager and Project Lead and later becoming Senior Staff Validation Manager and Project Lead at Marvell Technology from April 2010 to November 2020. Currently, Tom serves as System Level Characterization Manager and Lead at Arm, starting in April 2025.
