Yichen Jia

Yichen Jia is a Staff Performance Engineer at Arm, specializing in analyzing performance issues in cloud applications and server systems, optimizing software and architecture, and contributing to future server designs since June 2020. Previous experience includes a Senior Performance Engineer role at Arm focused on enhancing cloud computing through advanced memory/storage technologies, as well as various positions at Louisiana State University where Yichen explored SSD technology, implemented auto-tuning in storage systems, and served as a Teaching Assistant for computer science courses. Earlier internships at Arm involved emulating persistent memory and investigating NVMe technologies. Yichen holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Jilin University.
