Yiwei Zhang

Yiwei Zhang is a Staff CPU Design Engineer at ARM, where they have been working since 2014 in the CPU Division. Prior to this role, Yiwei was a Firmware Engineer at Global Inkjet Systems Ltd from 2011 to 2013, focusing on FPGA design, verification, and driver development. Yiwei began their career as an ASIC/FPGA Engineer at Datang Mobile Communications Equipment Co., Ltd. from 2003 to 2006, specializing in the design of wireless communication systems. Yiwei earned a PhD in Electronic Engineering from the University of Bristol, where they also contributed to the SOC design of a biophysically accurate neural simulator on FPGA. Additionally, Yiwei holds a BSc in Electronics and Information Engineering from Sichuan University and an MSc in Wireless Communications and Electronic Design from the China Academy of Telecommunication Technology.
