In 2011, Andy was watching images of soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan with avoidable burns and injuries from the synthetic based, petrochemical clothes that they were issued with. Armadillo Merino® was set up to stop these avoidable injuries, using a natural fibre. 

Our Merino clothing does not melt or drip if it burns, does not smell, is comfortable, keeps you warm when it is cold and helps to cool you when it is hot. It is designed with and for tactical operators, professionals and demanding users in the most extreme environments.
