Sharon Smith

Sharon Smith is the Senior Counsel at Armbrust & Brown, P.L.L.C., where they focus on public finance and special purpose districts. Previously, they served as a Senior Attorney at TNRCC & TCEQ, managing attorney teams and overseeing various environmental compliance matters. Sharon also worked as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Austin, managing land development planning and zoning issues, as well as water and wastewater agreements. They began their legal career as a Staff Attorney at the Texas Water Commission, where they handled contested cases and authored regulatory rules. Sharon received a JD from Texas Tech University School of Law and a BA from Southwestern University.
