Kevin Murphy

Kevin Murphy has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Kevin started their career as a Copywriter/Team Lead at Prodigy Services Company in 1990. Kevin then joined IBM in 1995 as an Advisory Application Development Analyst. At IBM, they went on to hold roles such as Business Analyst/Team Lead from 2000 to 2005, Business Analyst/Business Process Lead from 2005 to 2012, and Business Analyst/Agile Product Owner from 2012 to 2018. During their time at IBM, Kevin Murphy gathered and refined requirements, managed product backlogs, facilitated Agile Scrum techniques, conducted requirements work sessions, designed and delivered operational process models, performed requirements verification, and delivered user education sessions. In 2018, Kevin Murphy joined Armedia where they have taken on roles such as Project Manager, Quality Manager, and Sr. Business Analyst.

Kevin Murphy has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Iona University, where they majored in English Literature and Communication Arts. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications as an Amazon Web Services Business Professional from Amazon Web Services in December 2018, and as a Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from scrumalliance.org in September 2016.
