Alex Caplea

Alex Caplea is a seasoned software developer with extensive experience in mobile and frontend development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Developer at Arnia Software since December 2022, Alex previously held a similar role at Cognizant Softvision. Notably, Alex co-founded Vehicool, developing comprehensive mobile applications for clients and employees, and participated as a finalist in the 2021 Social Impact Award for an innovative mobile detailing app. Alex’s entrepreneurial spirit was showcased on the television show "Imperiul Leilor," where a €200k investment was declined in favor of pursuing greater growth. A consistent advocate for innovation, Alex has won accolades such as the Commons Accel Demo Day Winner and has contributed significantly to projects for major clients at Hogarth Worldwide. Alex holds a degree in Sociology and Social Work from the University of Bucharest.
