Eric Midden

Eric Midden, P.E., is the Managing Director at ARO Drilling, a role they have held since 2024. They have extensive hands-on experience in offshore deepwater and jack-up drilling operations, with a strong focus on safety, rig management, and drilling optimization. Prior to their current position, Eric served as Operations Manager and Rig Manager at Ensco plc, where they oversaw various deepwater operations. Additionally, Eric was a Captain in the US Army and held managerial roles at Valaris Limited and Valaris plc. They earned a degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2017.
