Max Zhan

Max Zhan has a diverse work experience in software engineering. At Arpeggi Labs, they currently hold the position of Senior Software Engineer. Prior to this, Max worked at Hypha as a Software Engineering Advisor and later as a Senior Software Engineer. At Hypha, they contributed to building a collaborative platform for innovation teams using various technologies such as Next.js, Nest.js, AWS, and CRDTs.

Before joining Hypha, Max worked at Balatech.asia, where they held multiple roles. Max started as a Founding Engineer and collaborated with the product team to develop the initial version of the product. Max also served as a Software Engineering Lead, leading a team in building a new rendering engine and implementing modern technologies like React, Next.js, and Typescript. Max successfully improved system performance, set up a new CI/CD pipeline, and achieved high user engagement. Furthermore, at Balatech.asia, they also worked as a Software Engineering Advisor, providing guidance and support to the engineering team.

Max also gained experience as a Senior Software Engineer at OSCE, where they built and maintained an E-learning platform for law training using Node.js and React.js. Additionally, they worked at the Rural Development Fund as a Full-stack Software Engineer, contributing to the development of RDFMAP, a geographical data visualization tool. In this role, Max implemented a custom 3D map engine and collaborated with experts in GIS and ecology.

Max Zhan pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Óbuda University from 2017 to 2018. Prior to this, they attended the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering.
