James R. Varrell, M.D. is the founder and Chief Medical Officer at Array Behavioral Care and the Medical Director and President of CFG Health Network. Board certified in Psychiatry and Neurology, as well as in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry with a specialty in autism, Dr. Varrell has been a pioneer in telepsychiatry since 1997. They are known for performing the nation’s first involuntary psychiatric commitment via a televideo unit in 1999 and continue to educate the medical community on telepsychiatry through presentations at various prestigious organizations. Currently, Dr. Varrell performs telepsychiatry evaluations and manages a team of telepsychiatry clinicians.
