Arbaz Shakir

Arbaz Shakir is a Staff Mechanical Engineer at Array Labs, currently developing satellite thermomechanics. Previously, they held various roles, including Senior R&D Engineer at SunPower Corporation, where they contributed to multiple patent applications and developed models to predict mechanical failure in solar technologies. Arbaz completed a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at UC Berkeley, and has also worked in user experience design, mechanical engineering, and data engineering across numerous innovative projects. They began their professional journey as an undergraduate student researcher at multiple institutions, showcasing a strong foundation in research and practical engineering.
