Matthew Chiam

Matthew Chiam has extensive work experience in the field of sales and technical management. Matthew is currently employed by Array Networks as a Sales Engineer in the SEA region. In this role, they assist the sales team in achieving their yearly quota, drives sales of solutions and new products, and ensures successful proof-of-concept for all products.

Prior to their current role, Matthew worked as a Senior Presales at Bridgenet Solutions Sdn Bhd. Matthew closely collaborated with the sales team to ensure product suitability and service delivery. Matthew also provided support to the sales efforts through their in-depth product and business knowledge, and advised on tender decisions based on technical and commercial considerations.

Before joining Bridgenet Solutions, Matthew served as a Sales Specialist at Innovix Distribution from 2018 to 2019.

Matthew's earlier experience includes various roles at Convergence Networks Sdn Bhd. Matthew was a Channel Sales Manager from 2014 to 2017, responsible for coordinating with different departments and implementing standard operating procedures. Matthew also served as a Technical Manager from 2009 to 2013, overseeing the daily operation processes of the technical department and managing relationships with partners and vendors. In addition, Matthew worked as a Post Sales Team Leader from 2008 to 2009, leading a team of engineers in supporting major PLCs/MNCs clients with IT infrastructure solutions. Matthew also served as a Network & System Engineer from 2001 to 2008, where they handled product installations and configurations, provided on-site support, and delivered training to end users.

Matthew Chiam attended the Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU / APIIT) from 1998 to 1999. Matthew studied in the field of Computer Science/Information Technology during this time.
