Serhat Demirci

Serhat Demirci has had a diverse range of work experiences throughout their career. Serhat most recently held the position of Senior Customer Engineer at Arrcus, Inc., starting in May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Nokia as an IP Resident Engineer from June 2018 to May 2023, and as an IP Domain Architect from March 2016 to June 2018. During their time at Nokia, Serhat completed various projects in different countries, successfully collecting and translating customer requirements to solutions. Serhat also delivered High Level Design and Low-Level Design documents in a timely manner and improved network operations management and migration strategies.

Before Nokia, Serhat worked at Vodafone as a Data Services Planning Expert from September 2015 to March 2016. Serhat collaborated with Vodafone Global to develop end-to-end solutions, prepared technical specifications and documents for purchasing new products, and exceeded sales team demands through effective capacity planning.

Additionally, Serhat has experience as a Senior Network Specialist at Turk Telekom from June 2010 to August 2015. Their responsibilities included IP/MPLS Core Network Design and Optimization, High Level and Low-Level designs of MPLS services, and IP Multicast and Multicast VPN implementations.

Earlier in their career, Serhat served as a Graduate Assistant at New York University in 2009 and as a Network Operation Center Intern at New York City Transit in 2008.

Serhat Demirci earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Uludag University from 2002 to 2006. Serhat then went on to obtain a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from New York University between 2007 and 2009. In terms of certifications, they have an extensive background in networking and cloud technologies. Serhat holds certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Serhat also has certifications from Cisco, including Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA Routing and Switching) and Cisco Certified Network Professional Routing and Switching (CCNP Routing and Switching). Additionally, they hold several certifications from Nokia, including Nokia Service Routing Architect (SRA) Certification, Nokia Network Routing Specialist I (NRS I) Certification, Nokia Network Routing Specialist II (NRS II) Certification, and Nuage Networks Professional - Software Defined WAN (NNP SD-WAN) Certification.
