Alistair Hands

Alistair Hands has extensive experience in the transport and travel industries, currently serving as Managing Director Regions at Arriva Group since January 2016, after holding various roles including Commercial & Marketing Director and Commercial Director for UK Bus. Prior experience includes leadership positions at Thomas Cook from May 2010 to December 2015, where responsibilities ranged from Director of Yield and Pricing to Commercial Yield Director, and Director of Destination. Alistair also worked as Commercial Director at Neilson Active Holidays from September 2005 to May 2010, and had a foundational career in finance at both Thomas Cook and Next Group PLC. Alistair holds a BSc in Geophysics from the University of Leicester, complemented by earlier education at Preston College and Garstang High School.
