James Thomsen

James Thomsen is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various industries. Currently serving as the Interim Executive Director and Treasurer for the Yosemite Climbing Association, Thomsen also provides consulting services to the Central CA Small Business Development Center Network. With a strong entrepreneurial focus, Thomsen is the President of both Wilderness Experience and Icon Originals LLC, showcasing innovation in design and product development. Previous roles include significant leadership positions at VF Corporation, where Thomsen oversaw international brands such as JanSport and Eastpak, and a sailing career as Captain of Sailing Yacht Tenaya. Educated at prestigious institutions, including Pepperdine and UCLA, Thomsen has also engaged in canyoneering, traveling extensively across various terrains.
