James Smith is the founder of DFIRmadness.com and a Purple Team Engineer specializing in forensics and incident response. They have a diverse background that includes serving as a Green Beret and military aviator, along with extensive experience in information security roles, such as Senior Incident Response Engineer at Arrow Electronics and Cyber Warfare Officer with the Colorado Army National Guard. Currently, James is pursuing a Master of Science in Information Security Engineering at SANS Technology Institute.
