Alan Ruff

Alan Ruff is an experienced professional currently serving as the General Manager for the Wells Team at Arrow Energy, overseeing drilling, completion, workover, and abandonment operations within the Surat and Moranbah basins since March 2023. Prior to this role, Alan was the Service Delivery Manager at MPC Kinetic and a Principal Consultant at Safer Together, where collaborative safety initiatives in the Australian Oil and Gas Industry were facilitated. Alan also held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Sirius Well Manufacturing Services, a joint venture between Shell and CNPC, and managed Wells Operations for Shell QGC on a major CSG to LNG project. Alan's extensive background in drilling engineering includes roles at BG Group and BG Bolivia, complemented by a Bachelor of Science degree in Integrated Engineering from Nottingham Trent University.
