Ben Turner

Ben Turner is a highly experienced scientist in the field of assay development and drug discovery, currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals since December 2018, focusing on assay development for RNAi therapeutics. Prior to this role, Ben held positions including Senior Bioassays Development Specialist at NewLink Genetics, where expertise in automating and executing cell-based assays was developed, and Research Associate at the University of Kansas, contributing to early-stage translational research. Earlier in the career, Ben worked at Deciphera Pharmaceuticals as Scientist II & Consultant, Gilead Sciences as Associate Scientist I, and Pfizer, Inc. as a Scientist, gaining significant experience in molecular and cell biology R&D and high throughput screening. Ben holds a Master's degree in Molecular Biotechnology from Western Michigan University and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
