Daniel Braas is an experienced research professional with a strong background in molecular biology and biochemistry. Currently serving as Associate Director and Senior Scientist in Translational Biomarker at Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals since January 2021, Daniel specializes in developing and automating biomarker assays to support drug optimization and clinical trials. Daniel's previous roles include Adjunct Assistant Professor at UCLA, where collaboration with oncologists led to significant advancements in glioblastoma patient research, and Associate Director at Stemina Biomarker Discovery, Inc., focused on LC-MS/MS assay development within CLIA-regulated environments. Daniel has also established the UCLA Metabolomics Center, collaborating with over 70 labs, and has a substantial history in research roles, including postdoctoral fellowships and a graduate student position, culminating in a Ph.D. in Chemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Münster.
