George Mayhew

George Mayhew is a bioinformatics leader with over 30 years of experience in computational biology, experimental design, and data science. Currently serving as the Manager of Research Informatics at Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals, they previously held key roles at Invenra and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they demonstrated a strong aptitude for managing teams and advancing bioinformatics projects. George has founded Oak Springs Genomics, offering consulting services in bioinformatics and laboratory sequencing automation. They hold a Master’s degree in Microbiology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, along with dual Associate and Bachelor degrees in Biology, Chemistry, and Genetics.
