Aiden Price has a diverse work experience in the field of geospatial solutions and technology. Aiden started their career in 2004 as a Geologist at Earth Data Pty Ltd, where they held various roles such as Geologist, Project Geologist, Senior Project Geologist, Senior Geologist, and CSG Team Leader NSW until 2013.

In 2015, Aiden joined AME Group as a GIS Analyst and led a project to create a web map application for mining and energy tenement data worldwide. Aiden also managed a team of GIS professionals and navigated a competitive market with similar products.

In 2016, Aiden worked at Informed Solutions as a GIS Technology Specialist, where they evaluated the suitability of spatial and non-spatial software for a new NSW Government open data portal. Aiden consulted with government stakeholders and prepared reports on suitability criteria.

Aiden also worked at Anditi Pty Limited from 2016 to 2019 as a Geospatial Solutions Specialist, providing consulting geospatial work for various clients. Their tasks included finding wildlife, mapping vegetation encroachments, and delineating levee banks. Aiden was experienced in designing and implementing solutions using FME, GeoServer, PostGIS, and Python.

From 2019 to 2021, Aiden worked at Centennial Coal as a Data Engineer, contributing to data engineering projects.

Recently, Aiden joined Arrowtail Precision in 2021 as the CTO & Director.

Aiden Price's education history begins in 1994 when they attended Knox Grammar School in Wahroonga. Aiden completed their secondary education there from 1994 to 1997. After finishing high school, Price went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology at the University of Newcastle. Aiden attended the university from 1998 to 2001. Following their undergraduate studies, Price gained further educational experience in the field of geospatial science. Aiden completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Geospatial Science at Curtin University, where they studied from 2014 to 2016. In addition to their formal degrees, Price also undertook short courses to enhance their knowledge in specific areas. In 2011, they attended The University of Auckland for a Geothermal Geoscience Short Course. In 2013, they further expanded their understanding by studying Principles of Geological Information Management at the University of Newcastle. Overall, Price has developed a solid educational foundation in geology and geospatial science through their academic pursuits.
