Emir Pearson

Emir Pearson has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Emir is currently the Chief Executive Officer (Co-Founder) at Arrowtail Precision since November 2021. Prior to this, Emir served as the Managing Director at AOD Business Solutions starting from October 2020.

Emir's longest tenure was at Orica. Emir held various positions during their time there, including Senior Specialist - Global Ammonium Nitrate from October 2019 until October 2020. Before that, they were the Asset Management Systems Programme Lead from January 2015 to October 2019, where they played a crucial role in developing and implementing large-scale business projects related to Asset Management and Operational Excellence.

Emir also held the position of Senior Business Analyst at Orica from May 2011 until December 2014. In this role, they provided leadership and guidance to IT teams and the business, aligning service delivery with organizational objectives. Emir was responsible for implementing projects related to various aspects such as Demand Planning, Procurement, Production, Sales Order Management, and more.

Earlier in their career at Orica, Emir served as the Business Efficiency Manager from April 2008 to May 2011. Emir managed the Project Portfolio for business efficiency improvement projects and oversaw the development and implementation of the Master Blast data management tool. Emir also worked as an Operations Superintendent from November 2006 to March 2008 and as a Training Superintendent from August 2005 to November 2006.

Emir's first role at Orica was as a Technical Project Manager from January 2002 to August 2005.

From 2009 to 2010, Emir attended Excel Consulting Australia and earned a Diploma of Management (FLM) with a field of study in Management.

Between 2002 and 2007, Emir pursued a Masters of Business Administration at the University of Newcastle, specializing in Business.

In 2005 and 2006, Emir enrolled at Management Consultancy International and completed a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, focusing on Training.

From 1998 to 2001, Emir studied at QUT (Queensland University of Technology) and obtained a Bachelor of Science (Applied Chemistry) with a field of study in Chemistry and Material Science.
