Starr Busby

Starr Busby is a versatile voice teacher and professional actor with extensive experience in theater, music, and community outreach. Currently serving as a Voice Teacher at Long Island University and an Artist in Residence at Ars Nova Theater, Starr also works with Carnegie Hall as a Singer/Songwriter and Community Outreach Facilitator for the Lullaby Project, aiding underserved communities in songwriting for children. Starr's acting credits include notable performances at various prominent theaters, such as Starbuck in "Moby Dick: A Musical Reckoning" at American Repertory Theater and contributions to productions at The Public Theater and Signature Theatre Company. Additionally, Starr has worked as a composer, creating innovative works that engage with feminist themes. With a solid educational foundation from Northwestern University, Starr holds a Bachelor of Music in Voice and Opera and a Certificate in Music Theater, highlighting a commitment to artistic excellence and community engagement.
