Kyle Orland is a seasoned gaming journalist with over a decade of experience in the industry. Currently serving as the Senior Gaming Editor at Ars Technica since January 2012, Kyle specializes in writing for a technical-minded audience. Previous roles include News Editor at Gamasutra, where writing focused on industry news for a development audience, and Staff Writer at Crispy Gamer, contributing diverse content such as reviews and a bi-weekly column. Additional experiences encompass positions at Eurogamer, Electronic Gaming Monthly, Joystiq, and NPR, where Kyle co-hosted the Press Start Podcast. An author of "Wii for Dummies," Kyle has also written for GameDaily and maintained an Intranet for NPR. Kyle holds a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Maryland.
