Art in the Round is a global nonprofit creative foundation dedicated to celebrating art, supporting artists, nurturing creative talent, advancing research, and strengthening communities through culture and expression. Rooted in Ghana but connected to the world, Art in the Round serves as a home for people who believe in the power of art to shape identity, inspire transformation, and connect humanity.

The organization was founded on the understanding that art is not a luxury, it is a human necessity. Art makes all things efficient, by fostering the creative and critical thinking essential for solving problems, driving innovation, and enriching human experience. Art tells our stories, heals our brokenness, grows our imagination, and expands our possibilities. It gives children confidence, gives communities meaning, and gives nations cultural identity. Yet many artists, learners, and communities around the world lack platforms for support, visibility, and creative growth.

Art in the Round exists to close this gap.

We operate through a holistic ecosystem of five pillars:
1. Art & Artist Support Platform
2. Creative Community & Culture Hub
3. Research & Knowledge Centre
4. Youth Talent & Innovation Lab
5. Arts Education & Learning Support

We aspire to create:
A world where creativity is valued, artists are supported, youth are empowered, and art becomes a universal language of connection.

Impact Statement:
Art in the Round emerges from lived experience and proven transformations, such as the mentorship that led a 16-year-old student to build an AI education system now recognized nationally. Our founder, Samuel Ohene-Sarfo, is an award-winning art educator, ICTE 2025 speaker, and author of The Teacher’s Eye: How to Find Hidden Genius in a Crowded Classroom.

We are committed to expanding this transformative work, uplifting artists, strengthening creative education, and inspiring the next generation of innovators across the world.
