Welcome to Art MEDified where you can learn about your health with and from us! We are happy you are here!

Art MEDified, Inc. is a non-profit organization that crafts health literacy through artistic projects. Our board and our officers team full of students; who have come to love healthcare and learning more about issues that are too common, like the lack of proper health literacy among the people, which the main issue we are targeting. The flagship chapter of our organization is based at UCLA and strives to spread Art MEDified’s mission through community outreach, art events, team building, and so much more! 


The current proficient health literacy(the ability to find, understand, appraise, and use health information) rate of the U.S. population is only 12%, thus 9/10 of U.S. adults struggle understanding and using basic health information (chcs). Limited health literacy can cause worsened health outcomes, strain the health care system, and create additional costs. Limited health literacy is also prevalent among marginalized populations, disproportionately impacting Medicaid members.


That why here at Art MEDified we are making it our mission to explaining and digest health topics, disease, fundamentals. Also we promote our knowledgeable camps and involvement that we offer to high school and undergraduate students!
