Ziggy Gable has extensive experience in software development, architecture, and technical leadership across a variety of organizations.
Ziggy is currently a Senior Software Development Engineer at ART19, an Amazon company. Ziggy joined ART19 in 2014 as a Senior Software Engineer and was promoted to Chief Architect in 2017, leading the development of the company’s podcast content management and ad delivery platform. Following Amazon’s acquisition of ART19 in June 2021, Ziggy assumed the title of Senior Software Development Engineer.
Prior to joining ART19, Ziggy worked briefly as a Senior Software Engineer at Gallo Digital LLC in 2014. Before that, Ziggy spent two years at DecisionPoint Systems, Inc., initially joining as a Developer in 2012. In that role, Ziggy focused on mobile application development using PhoneGap and Motorola RhoElements, as well as web application development with Ruby on Rails. Ziggy was later promoted to Senior Developer and Solutions Architect, overseeing project architecture, coordinating with customers and development teams, and leading server-side development using Ruby on Rails, Amazon Linux, and Amazon Web Services.
From 2005 to 2014, Ziggy served as Lead Developer at Poseidon Imaging, contributing to a wide range of development initiatives. During this period, Ziggy also worked as a Mobile Application Developer at Illume Mobile from 2011 to 2012, developing applications for iPhone, iPad, and Android using PhoneGap, while also supporting backend systems with Ruby on Rails, Ubuntu, and Amazon Web Services.
Earlier in Ziggy’s career, Ziggy held several positions at Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology. From 2006 to 2008, Ziggy worked as a Computer Support Student Worker, providing technical support to campus users. Ziggy then served as Webmaster from 2008 to 2009 before advancing to Application Developer and Webmaster from 2009 to 2011, where Ziggy managed web development and content management projects using XHTML, MySQL, and PHP.
Ziggy Gable attended Vian High School from 2003 to 2006, earning a high school diploma. During that time, Ziggy also studied Information Technologies at Indian Capital Technology Center–Sallisaw from 2004 to 2006.
Ziggy continued education at Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology – Okmulgee from 2006 to 2009, earning a Bachelor of Technology in Information Assurance and Forensics, an Associate of Science in Information Technologies, and an Associate of Applied Science in Information Technologies.
In addition to formal education, Ziggy has earned numerous professional certifications. These include Apple certifications such as Apple Certified Associate – Mac Integration and Apple Certified Support Professional across multiple versions of macOS, as well as CompTIA certifications including A+, Network+, Cloud+, Storage+ Powered by SNIA, and continuing education credentials. Ziggy’s educational background and certifications reflect a strong commitment to technical excellence and continuous professional development.
