Shimin Wang is a skilled scientist with extensive experience in the fields of molecular biology and cancer research. Currently serving as a Scientist II at ARTBIO since October 2024, Shimin previously held the same title at Ikena Oncology, where contributions included developing cellular assays and generating critical data for drug development programs from June 2022 to February 2024. Prior to this, Shimin was a Postdoctoral Fellow at MD Anderson Cancer Center, focusing on functional genomic screenings with CRISPR/Cas9 technology to elucidate pathways related to cancer, from November 2016 to June 2022. Shimin's academic foundation includes a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from China Pharmaceutical University and a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
