Chris Eckardt

Chris Eckardt is a freelance professional with extensive experience in the visual effects and animation industries. As a founding member and head of education at DHIMA, Chris played a pivotal role from 1997 to 2001, and later served as an instructor at Gnomon School of Visual Effects from 2005 to 2013. Chris held various significant positions at Framestore from 2012 to 2022, including Creative Director and On-Set VFX Supervisor. Currently, Chris is an associate professor at Otis College of Art and Design and serves as Executive Creative Director at ArtClass while continuing their education journey at Washington State University.
