Tom Salvito

Tom Salvito has over 35 years of experience in IT management and disaster recovery. Currently serving as a Disaster Recovery Coordinator at Artech Information Systems since 2012, Tom leads global technical teams on disaster recovery projects for State Street Corporation, managing multiple projects simultaneously through a rigorous planning cycle. Previously, Tom spent 13 years at SunGard Availability Services, where as Manager of Open Systems, Tom oversaw a team of 19 IT professionals and managed a large data center, with responsibilities that included escalation management for over 60 IT staff. Tom's career began at Somerville Lumber Co. as Systems Manager, ensuring the efficient operation of a retail DEC system. Tom holds education credentials from the University of Dayton and Rutgers University - Camden.
