Carolyn Yip

Carolyn Yip has a vast and varied work experience. Carolyn is currently working as a Designer II and Designer at Artefact since 2021. Prior to that, they were a UX Design Intern, System Design & Visual Design Intern and Railyard Design Intern at Dossier in 2020. In 2019 they worked as Co-Founder & Creative Director at Studio Kleio, User Experience & Visual Designer at Recon Dynamics, UX Designer Research Assistant and ConnectionLab Videographer at Simon Fraser University, Videographer/Photographer/Designer at Freelance, UX Specialist and Graphic Designer at Plasmatic Technologies, Lead Design at TeifiX, Video Editor at Destination British Columbia, and Producer/Director at Fortuitous Short Film.

Carolyn Yip completed their Bachelor's degree in Interactive Arts and Technology from Simon Fraser University in 2021. Carolyn attended Glacier Peak High School from 2012 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained two certifications: Systems Thinking from The UnSchool of Disruptive Design in May 2022 and Trauma Informed Design Essentials from The Human Centered Design Network (This is HCD) in August 2022.
