Michael Bykhovsky

Michael Bykhovsky has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Michael is currently serving as the Chief Strategy Officer at Artemis Networks since September 2019. Prior to this role, they were a Board Member at Cargo Chief starting from October 2017.

From 2008, Michael worked as an Independent Contractor, where they held multiple roles including being a Board member for economic advisory and educational purposes. Michael also served as the President of the Center for Open Economics, Co-Chair of Columbia University Entrepreneurship Program, and Member of Columbia Engineering Board of Visitors. Additionally, they were a Member of the Economic Advisory Board for US Representative Jackie Speier and a Board Member for Outward Bound. Michael was also the CEO of CNML Real-Estate Development, a multifamily real-estate company.

Before their independent contracting work, Michael founded Applied Financial Technology (AFT) in 1996 and served as the President and CEO. During their tenure, AFT became a dominant force in the mortgage analytics space, providing software and databases for mortgages, MBS, bonds, and other interest rate-sensitive instruments and derivatives. The company had offices in San Francisco, New Hampshire, and China.

Michael'searlier work experience includes roles as Vice President at Fisher Francis Trees and Watts in 1994, Vice President at Hyperion Capital Management from 1993 to 1994, Vice President at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. in 1992, Vice President at Prudential Securities from 1988 to 1991, and Research Assistant at the European Center for Nuclear Research from 1985 to 1987.
