Marc Cote has a comprehensive work experience in the semiconductor industry. Their most recent position is as a Principal Functional Safety Engineer at Arteris since December 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Allegro MicroSystems as a Functional Safety Engineering Manager from February 2018 to November 2022.
Before joining Allegro MicroSystems, Marc had a long tenure at Texas Instruments, starting in April 1992 and working until February 2018. Their role there was as a Member of Technical Staff, where they led digital design for mixed-signal products and developed SERDES devices for the automotive market.
Earlier in their career, Marc worked at National Semiconductor in various roles. Marc served as a Principal Design Engineer, maintaining digital design and team leadership positions on multiple mixed-signal DC/DC converter devices. Marc also worked as a Staff DFT Engineer, developing replay methodology to verify ATE patterns prior to silicon and overseeing ATE test pattern development. Additionally, they worked as a Product, Test, and DFT Engineer during their time at National Semiconductor.
Throughout their career, Marc has demonstrated their expertise in functional safety engineering, digital design, and test development.
Marc Cote has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern Maine, which they obtained from 1990 to 1991. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts at Saint Anselm College from 1986 to 1990. In addition, Marc Cote has obtained a certification in UL-CFSP-Auto from UL in May 2021.
