Tim Heasley

Tim is an Artesian Partner, currently based in Shanghai, responsible for early stage investment for the China VC Fund. Tim is responsible for undertaking due diligence on, negotiating with, and documenting Artesian’s relationships with its partner accelerators in Greater China. Until moving to China in 2018, Tim was Artesian’s Chief Operating Officer since Artesian launched in 2004 and is a lawyer of 25+ years’ experience. As COO he was primarily responsible for designing, building and launching Artesian’s funds and ensuring compliance with laws and regulation across the business. Tim is closely involved with capital raising, strategy and the overall direction of the Artesian group. Tim completed a Master of Banking and Financial Services Law from the University of Melbourne, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Canterbury, NZ and a Bachelor of Science (Biology) from the University of Canterbury, NZ.
